Purpose & Overview

PokeCalc provides free Pokémon calculators and reference tools built from open data (PokeAPI, Pokémon Showdown, Smogon) that run in your browser.

Data Sources

All Pokémon game data, species statistics, move properties, type relationships, and battle mechanics come from open sources:

• PokeAPI — Species data, generation rosters, abilities, moves, and localized terminology.
• Pokémon Showdown — Battle mechanics, formula implementations, item definitions, and move effects.
• Smogon — Competitive usage statistics and tier definitions.

Architecture & Privacy

PokeCalc is built as static HTML pre-rendered at build time. Calculations execute client-side in the browser without server roundtrips.

There are no user accounts, no tracking scripts, no third-party advertising, and no cookies.
