About the Living Dex Tracker
A living Pokédex is a collection containing one individual of every Pokémon species arranged sequentially by National Pokédex number. Unlike a standard Pokédex entry that registers once upon evolution or capture, a living dex preserves each stage simultaneously.
Per-Generation Distribution
The national species roster spans 1,025 Pokémon across nine generations: Generation I (151), Generation II (100), Generation III (135), Generation IV (107), Generation V (156), Generation VI (72), Generation VII (88), Generation VIII (96), and Generation IX (120).
Local Data and Portability
All marked checklist progress is stored directly in your browser's local storage. Your data remains entirely private and never leaves your device. Use the Export JSON button to save backups or transfer your progress between computers.
